Description
- Northern Red Oak trees can grow 50-75 ft. tall, 40-60 ft. wide
- Prefers full sun exposure to part sun to thrive. Giving anything less will cause some issues.
- Northern Red Oak likes well-drained soil that is somewhat rich and acidic.
- Plant with a three-foot diameter space between other trees to allow optimal growth and full sun.
- Mulch over the entire rooting area with 2 to 4 inches of bark mulch.
