Join DCR Chesapeake Bay Region Steward Zach Bradford and FoR staff for a Wetland Walk at Hickory Hollow Natural Area Preserve on the Northern Neck!
Wetland Walks are designed to showcase different types of wetlands in the lower Rappahannock. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out Hickory Hollow’s globally rare coastal plains seepage swamp, home to migratory songbirds, wild turkey and diverse plant species, including a lady slipper orchid!
Remember to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water and snacks if you wish.
