VOLUNTEER – Sperryville Trail Day!

Start your weekend right by joining us out on the trails making our community and ecosystem healthier!

We will be working on improving our amazing Sperryville Trail system and build up our native tree system along the Thornton River. We have two different volunteer shifts (AM or PM) and two different roles (Trail Maintenance and Tree Planting). You can register for whichever shift and role works best for you! Come join Friends of the Rappahannock, Sperryville Community Alliance, Virginia Department of Forestry, Piedmont Environmental Council, Rappahannock League of Environmental Protection, Old Rag Master Naturalists and Northern Piedmont Tree Stewards March 30th!

Things to know!!

  • All equipment will be provided, along with some refreshments
  • Volunteers will meet up at the Black Twig parking lot (12018 Lee Hwy, Sperryville, VA 22740)
  • All volunteers should wear close toed shoes and clothes they don’t mind getting dirty.
  • Please fill out THIS WAIVER prior.
  • RSVP below and select your preferred time and role
