Our Impact
40 Years of Making a Difference
Who is Friends of the Rappahannock?
Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR) is a grassroots nonprofit started by a group of environmentally conscious people in 1985. We strive to advocate, restore, and educate for a healthy and scenic Rappahannock River.
FOR wouldn’t be what it is without the contributions of our volunteers and members for over 40 years. Our impact only continues to grow.

With your help, in 2024 we were able to…
