Come birding with us! The experts say it’s great for your physical and mental health (check out THIS article) AND what better way to kick off fall than possibly spotting woodpeckers, sparrows, hawks, and more?! You will be guided by FOR bird experts and educators, April Harper and Sofie Marino.

Located at our beautiful, newly updated site Float on Farms (3580 N James Madison Hwy, Locust Dale, VA). The turn doesn’t have signage yet, so please look for teal yard signs as you slowly approach. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to 9 AM to allow time to pass us and turn around 🙂 as well as get settled.

Binoculars will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Field guides will be present to help with identification. Please dress for tall grass and weather and bring a water bottle.

All ages are welcome. Be sure to sign up if you’re interested in attending! Each ticket represents one person, so please register additional family members or group participants separately. It is FREE to participate but we encourage a minimum donation of $5 at check out!
