River Rangers: Rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
Weeks: June 8-12, July 6-10
River Rangers are introduced to a variety of activities, including kayaking, hiking, canoeing, snorkeling, and tubing. They learn about the Rappahannock River while playing in it! If you like to get wet and have fun while learning about our natural world, join us for a week!
River Rats: Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Weeks: June 15-19, July 20-24
River Rats get to experience some special river fun, including a trip to the Tidal Rappahannock and paddling on the river. They hike, kayak, tube, snorkel, and more! Hang out with friends, new and old, while learning river recreation, basic wilderness survival skills, and how to protect the Rappahannock! If you want an outdoor challenge this summer, then this camp is designed for you!
COMBINED River Rats & River Rangers: Rising 3rd-8th graders
Weeks: June 1-5, July 27-31
River Rats Camp (grades 3 to 5) and River Rangers Camp (grades 6 to 8) combine to provide families a way for campers of wide age ranges to attend camp during the same week! We will provide age appropriate outdoor activities with times where we are all together and times apart. Activities include hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, tubing and other memorable outdoor adventures! Families of the combined Rangers and Rats are invited to join us on the river on Friday after lunch to participate in some of the fun activities we have been experiencing all week!
