Riverfest is Friends of the Rappahannock’s LARGEST fundraiser of the year! We host 1,200 guests for crabs, drink, live music and amazing auction and raffle prizes. The money raised from this event helps us keep our lights on, cars running, and our mission for a healthy and scenic river possible!
Riverfest is Sept 20th, next to City Dock from 3pm-8pm
We are currently volunteers to support different event sections. We typically have around 170 volunteers between set up, day of and cleanup.

Volunteer roles include:
- Friday Morning Set Up
- Saturday Morning Set Up
- Sunday Cleanup
- Front Gate Check In
- Compost & Green Team
- Litter and Trash Crew
- Crab Servers – Typically HS and college age groups/teams so please reach out if you have a group/team interested!
