Help us plant trees at the newly constructed Lancaster High School before it officially opens in Fall 2026!
Trees help filter our water, reduce run off, provide habitat for wildlife, create necessary shade/cooling, and filter the air we breath. By volunteering YOU make all this happen in our community! This project is funded by Department of Forestry, and led by the Northern Neck Planning District Commission for the 250th anniversary. Partial funders also include DEQ and NFWF.
Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, clothes that can get dirty, hat/sunglasses, water bottle, and gloves. Gloves, snacks, water, and necessary planting tools will be provided. No experience necessary.
