Our Annual Big Fall Cleanup is back and we’re excited to get our river and community ready for the fall!

Join Friends of the Rappahannock on Saturday Oct 17th at Old Mill Park for a morning of litter cleanup and enjoying the Rappahannock. Volunteers/groups will meet at Old Mill Park and then disperse to their assigned cleanup sites (all of which are a less than a 10min walk or drive from Old Mill), after some FREE breakfast by the river!

Litter grabbers, gloves and bags will be provided. Make sure to wear good walking shoes and clothes they don’t mind potentially getting dirty. Volunteers under 16 years old need to have a guardian/group leader present. SIGN THIS WAIVER PRIOR

Schedule for the Day:

9-9:30am – FREE breakfast and check in at Old Mill Park!

9:30am-11:30am – Cleanup litter at your designated sites throughout the community

11:30am-Noon – Return your trash and grabbers to Old Mill Park and have a lovely rest of your weekend!
