Join Friends of the Rappahannock on the water to enjoy peak fall colors in our first Fall Foliage Paddle in Culpeper, VA. This interpretive paddle trip will be relaxing and educational, perfect for beginners or new kayakers!! Attendees will meet FOR staff at the lake dock of Old Country Store & Bakery (18019 Country Store Dr.)
FOR will provide life jackets, paddles and kayaks, unless you register as BYO. ***FOR kayaks have a weight limit of 228 lbs ***
Must be 10+ years old to participate and be present for the 2pm safety talk. Boats will depart by 2:20pm.
What to bring & wear:
– Hydration
– Personal preference for hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
– Closed-toed shoes or tightly secured water sandals (e.g. chacos, tevas, keens) that go around the heel
This is a ticketed event, whether you are using FOR equipment or bringing your own. All funds go directly towards keeping our river healthy and scenic and make community programs like this possible!
