Rising 1st & 2nd Graders
Rising 1st and 2nd graders spend their mornings exploring the banks of the Rappahannock. Campers learn about the plants and animals that make the river their home. They play games, hike, forge sand castles, and much more. If your camper likes to get wet and a bit dirty outdoors, this camp is for them. Junior River Rangers enjoy the river along the banks and partake in what we call Extreme Wading in the shallows of the river. But they do not surf the rapids or paddle in watercraft. To ensure safety on and off the river, all of our camps have 15 campers or less each week.
Junior River Rangers is a half day camp running from 9:00am – 1:00pm, Monday through Friday.
