The 50th anniversary of Earth Day is coming up this April and we are celebrating by giving away free trees to residents in Fauquier County! Trees will be delivered to your doorstep between April 13-April 22. Due to health concerns regarding COVID-19, Friends of the Rappahannock staff will work with you to arrange a delivery day. Join Friends of the Rappahannock, Sperryville Community Alliance, RappFLOW, and the Rappahannock County Garden Club for the Annual Sperryville Community Clean-up on the Thornton River. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, volunteers will gather at the Headmaster's Pub parking lot in Sperryville to plant trees and cleanup along the Thornton River which flows downstream into the Rappahannock River.
