Shiver by the River – 2023

Join us for the 2nd annual Shiver by the River! Come out to our Fredericksburg Nature Preserve next to the Rappahannock for a spooky good time!
Educators will be sharing fun lessons on some of the spooky birds, critters, and creepy-crawlies we have here in the watershed! We will also have someone from Earth Quest to do an owl talk! There will be crafts, a scavenger hunt, a campfire and prizes for all who join us.
If you attend, please consider making a donation for Earth Quest that night and the amazing work that they do.
This event is perfect for children aged Pre-K through 6th grade. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes and bring a flashlight! Adults MUST STAY with their children. No drop offs please.
This event will not be scary. Purely educational!
All participants will be required to sign a waiver. Feel free to sign the waiver early HERE. This must be signed for every individual on our property. Adult or child.
