VOLUNTEER – FXBG Summer Camp!
June 13 - July 2
Enjoy being outside? Enjoy the river sciences/wildlife? Do you want to help inspire future generations of river stewards?!
Join us this summer at our FXBG summer camps program along the Rappahannock River!
Having an extra set of hands as we lead the next generation of river stewards on their summer river adventures is a HUGE help to us and our students. Volunteers must be 17 years or older, comfortable in summer heat, good with kids and a love for the river!
Below are the dates of camps, times and necessary skills…
- Solid kayaker and river safety knowledge needed from 9am-Noon on —-> 6/13, 6/20, 7/11,7/18 and 7/25
- Someone who loves to do STEM and more on land type programming from 12:30-3pm on —-> 7/15 and 7/22
Interested in helping but can only help for half a day, please still reach out!
