King George County Litter Clean Up

Join FOR and King George County staff to remove litter from along Route 3. Many tributaries to the Rappahannock River run underneath Route 3 and we want to assist County staff in stopping litter pollution from entering our waterways.
Please wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and sturdy shoes, bring a reusable water bottle and snacks. FOR will provide gloves, trash bags, and litter getters. A backpack is helpful to carry extra trash bags and other supplies as we often work away from vehicles.
This particular litter clean up is not recommended for volunteers under the age of 12 due to the proximity to the road.
