Join us at Friends of the Rappahannock for an afternoon of fun, hands-on educational opportunities for young explorers aging from Pre K – 2nd grade.
The Family Wildlife Festival takes place on our 17-acre nature preserve in Fredericksburg, VA. Nature walking paths will lead to six stations to learn about fish, squirrels, deer, birds, and the Rappahannock river! This event is geared towards ages 3-7 who are ready to learn all about our local wildlife.
Registration and Ticket Information
When registering, you must reserve a ticket for each person attending (adults and children).
Please select the top ticket price that best fits your family financially.
Please consider donating an extra ticket for those who are unable to afford a full ticket price.
COVID Guidelines
We are following Virginia’s COVID-19 safety guidelines. Our nature stations are geared toward maintaining social distancing and temperatures of all attendees will be checked upon arrival. Masks are to be worn if you are within 6 feet of anyone outside of your family.
Tickets will be available starting September 5th.
