Join FOR, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and the Piedmont Environmental Council for a day planting a Riparian Forest Buffer! Moo Thru Ice Cream will be on site to serve those who are able to volunteer with us. Please register for this event at the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s event page, here.
FOR and our partners will be on site at Cool Lawn Farms to plant native trees and shrubs to create a riparian forest buffer along Tinpot Run, a tributary to the Rappahannock River.
Please dress for the weather, as we will be planting rain or shine! Volunteers need to wear long pants, clothes that can get dirty, and close-toed shoes (boots recommended). We also recommend a hat, sunscreen, and gloves if you have them. Please bring water for yourself.
This planting location is in Warrenton, VA. Upon successful registration for this event, the exact event address will be sent to the registrant. Reminder emails are also sent approximately 3 days prior to the event and the day of the event via email.
