Join River Steward Anne Self on an evening paddle along Belle Isle State Park and Mulberry Creek on August 21st.
Meet us at the canoe launch in the park at 6:30 pm. You will paddle along the state park and up Mulberry Creek returning at around 8:30pm. Sunset is at 7:50 so this paddle should have some stunning views.
All equipment is provided: kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Life jackets must be worn at all times. Participants should bring a bottle of water, comfortable “water shoes” (no flip flops), and bug spray.
This paddle is perfect for any experience level and should be calm and easy to paddle.
Your parking fee is included in the price of the paddle.
If you would like to bring your own equipment, you must be a member of the Friends of the Rappahannock and register below as bringing your own equipment.
