FOR is pleased to partner with the Rappahannock Wildlife Refuge Friends for a Wild in the Woods Spruce-up Day. Volunteers will clean up the play areas, put down fresh mulch, replace logs, and build an eagle’s nest.
Requirements: Must be able to stand for over one hour, walk on uneven terrain, and work outdoors in the summer heat.
Clothing: Dress for the weather and plan to work outdoors in the heat. Wear appropriate shoes to work in the woods. Gloves will be provided.
Items to bring: Refillable water bottle, Bug/tick spray, sunscreen, hat, and snacks
(We will provide water and a few snacks)
Fill out THIS WAIVER before attending the program.
Volunteers under 16 must have a guardian or group leader present.
