Nature Day Camp 2010
Sponsored by Friends of the Rappahannock
Spend your summer days exploring the river and land of the Rapphannock. Interactive learning activities include canoeing*, hiking, tubing*, fishing, crafts, and more!
- Daily 9 am – 3 pm
- June 21-25, 2010: Ages 8-10 (rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders)
- July 19-23, 2010: Ages 10-13 (rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders)
- Fee: $175, $150 FOR members
- Location: Friends of the Rappahannock/VA Outdoor Center

Summer Youth Group Field Trips
Scout Programs
Scout troops can register as a group to work on specific scout badges/beltloops/pins including EcoExplorer, Earth Connections, Wildlife Conservation and Fishing among others. Scout programs are designed to meet scouting requirements for the achievements. River Safety and other non badge programs are also offered. Check out our Scouts page or call 373-3448 for specific information to meet your scouts’ needs.
Youth Groups
Camp, church, summer school, and other youth groups can join us for a field trip to explore the Rappahannock River its wildlife. Call for available programs that will suit your group.
Group programs are 2 hours long, $6 per child, minimum $60 per program.
